A Bullet Proof Form
On my last check up, my MMJ Doctor thanked me for making my form “bullet proof.” I have a combination of problems that create an ongoing circle of hell without the aid of medical marijuana to break the cycle every now and then. I have been going to physical therapy for a bad shoulder and back for 10 years now. I’ve been prescribed various pain relievers and muscle relaxers, all of which are either too acidic or make me too drowsy to function, let alone work. I am also being prescribed medications for Crohns. It is hard to eat most foods without it contributing to nausea or vomiting. I simply cannot take pills. Medical Marijuana provides me with instant relief from nausea, and helps me manage my pains without making me too useless to work.
What your MMJ Doctor is looking for
Your MMJ (Medical Marijuana) Doctor is looking for a way to help you, but they like to make sure you’ve tried other forms of therapy for relief first. If you have cancer, aids, or glaucoma, it is a walk in the park. If you’re seeking MMJ to help with inflamation or extreme pain, usually your Doctor will have you try other forms of treatment first. Go to your Doctor and try their recommended method of relief (ie physical therapy, presciption, etc) If that doesn’t work, bring in a record of you having visited the Doctor. The more visits, the better. I had 5 years of therapy behind me before I decided to become a medical patient. I just couldn’t afford to keep testing new prescriptions when I know MMJ works. I told my MMJ Doctor that I have tried marijuana in the past, and know that it works for me. With that said, I got my recommendation signed for 1 year. Typically if someone goes to a MMJ Doctor to get a recomendation to try MMJ for the first time, they may sign their recommendation for 3 or 6 months just so they can report back as to how its working out.
Where to find a MMJ Doctor?
First off, let me just say that a friend of mine just became aware that his medical recommendation is VOID because the Doctor he used was put out of business for not doing things properly. When he went to pick up his medications, his recommendation was destroyed on site. This is the reason I never suggest going to fly by night medical marijuana doctors.
